| Resumo: | A partir de 2006, após pressão internacional sobre o Governo brasileiro para tomar atitudes incisivas no combate à violência contra a mulher, houve crescimento substancial de discussões no Congresso acerca do tema. No decorrer de décadas de luta por cidadania e emancipação feminina, a legislação de normas que protegem mulheres tem se intensificado até os dias atuais. Entretanto, apesar do avanço legislativo, ainda há muito a desenvolver em políticas públicas voltadas às vítimas de violência de gênero. É imprescindível que o Estado melhore sua estrutura física no atendimento das mulheres, como criar mais delegacias especializadas, Juizados de Violência Doméstica e Familiar, casas de apoio, entre outros. Ademais, é fundamental capacitar profissionais que lidam com vítimas de violência para dar um tratamento mais adequado e humanizado, desde o boletim de ocorrência até o julgamento. Para tanto, é mister entender o fundamento da violência de gênero, considerando as desigualdades estruturais entre os sexos. |
| Resumo: | As from 2006, after international pressure for the Brazilian government to take incisive measures to combat violence against women, there was a substantial increase in discussions in Congress about the subject. Over decades of struggle for citizenship and female emancipation, the legislation of norms that protect women has intensified to the present day. However, despite legislative advances, there is still much more to be developed in public policies aimed at victims of gender violence. It is essential that the State improve its physical structure in the care of women, such as the creation of more specialized police stations, Courts of Domestic and Family Violence, support houses, among others. In addition, it is essential to train professionals who deal with victims of violence to offer more adequate and humane treatment, from the incident report to the trial. Therefore, it is necessary to understand the bases of gender violence, considering the structural inequalities between the sexes |
